Booking Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to every booking taken by La Diva Entertainments Ltd referred to as “La Diva” for a booking and agreed to by the person who makes the booking and or pays any booking deposit. This person will be referred to as ‘Client’ throughout these terms and conditions.
Booking Deposit
La Diva requires private clients to pay a deposit when booking entertainment for weddings, corporate events or private functions. The requirement of a deposit for other other event types is solely at the discretion of La Diva.

This deposit is 20% of the agreed total package price. This deposit is non-refundable (La Diva will only refund a deposit payment when the engagement has had to be cancelled by La Diva, in this case, the full deposit will be refunded. If a deposit is required, the deposit must be paid in full before La Diva can confirm any date.
Final Balance
Unless previously agreed with both La Diva and the client, the final balance for any booking must be received either by bank transfer 7 days prior to the event date, or by prior arrangement cash on the day of the event.
Cancellation
Cancellation: If La Diva has to cancel this contract for reasons beyond his control (death, injury, sickness etc.) liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid.
Cancellation by the client
Once a booking confirmation email has been issued the booking is considered valid and may only be cancelled by the client with the following fees being paid.

0-30 Days from event date – 100% of the outstanding balance due

31-60 Days from event date – 50% of the outstanding balance due

Less than 7 days from the date of booking - 0% of the outstanding balance

The above cancellation fees are an important part of the terms and conditions agreement and are accepted by the client on payment of a booking deposit. All cancellation fees must be paid within 10 days of cancelling the booking.

La Diva reserves the right after 30 days of non-payment to apply late fees and engage debt recovery services (at any additional cost to the Client).
Force Majeure
In the event that it shall become impossible for La Diva to fulfil his obligation due to circumstances beyond his control (including, but not limited to, “Acts of God”, adverse weather, civil unrest, industrial action or war) La Diva or the Client may cancel the performance without penalty other than loss of any booking deposit already paid.
Performance Times
The performance times are specified in the booking confirmation. Please note that contracted start times are based on La Diva having access to the performance area 90 minutes before the contracted start time. La Diva is not responsible for time overruns caused by any 3rd party such as venue, caterer or Client and reserves the right to finish any performance at the end time agreed at the time of booking. A minimum of 1 hour will be allowed after the performance has finished to pack down all of the equipment and vacate the venue.
Requirements of the Act
The Client shall provide a suitable performance area for the Act. either a stage or flat clear floor space no less than 3.5 m x 2.5m. The client must ensure there is an adequate and safe power source providing at least 2 13amp sockets which La Diva will be able draw the full 13 amps from each socket.

The Client agrees that the equipment and instruments of La Diva are not available for use by any other person, except by specific permission of La Diva staff.

The Client shall ensure at all times the security of the La Diva’s staff and property whilst at the venue.

The Client shall not make or permit the making of any audio and/or visual recording or transmission of the performance without the prior written consent of La Diva. The only exception to this without prior consent, is for personal use or uploading to social media services.
